Social problems with American teenagers in 2008. Set up the columns on the board. Have students work at their tables and come up with a list of seven social concerns that they’re facing today. Work together as a class. Now link that list to the problems of 1955, showing that many, if not most, of the same problems people are worried about still took place back then. Reflection: how the response is different, however, between the two years.
