Top row: Grandma Neiman, Great-grandma Wollerstein, Rhoda, and Len visited Mount Vernon in 1939. In the other photo, mom (with the bow in her hair) is accompanied on the lawn in Woodcliff Lake by Thelma and Bernice. Second row: A photo of mom taken in 1933. The other photo shows Grandpa and Uncle Michael at the beach in 1946. Third row: Mom and Uncle Len (1937); in the other photo, Mom and Aunt Carol (1942) Fourth row: Mom and Grandma at the shores of Bear Brook, 1943. The other one is a head-scratcher. My mom wrote "Halloween" on the back of the photo, but it was developed in July 1939, and the trees and flowers indicate summertime. Maybe Mom had a costume party for her birthday. Fifth row: Grandpa Neiman with Len and Rhoda (1939). Len and mom at Whirlpool State Park, which is next to Niagra Falls (1938).
