Isa's been setting out snares in the back yard, providing us with an alternative to moose steaks and burger. It's not like we don't get beef and chicken, either, but not as easily as we get these snowshoe hares. Expect some cool-looking rabbit's feet coming your way soon.

Here's some smiling kid photos on Christmas morning, and Joe carefully examining his first firearm, a Chipmunk .22 bolt-action single load rifle. We'll bring it out to the range after we get back from Anchorage and shoot some bottles (plastic is good, filled with water, to get a good effect).

See Joe on YouTube!

Check out Joe performing at the Christmas concert here on YouTube. It's a great little show. Some stills from the shows are shown on the left.

You can download our Christmas letter here. You'll need Adobe Acrobat reader.

Scroll down to see Joe as the leader of the shepherds at the church Christmas pageant on Christmas Eve; I also threw in a photo of Isa leading the children. There's also some photos of Joe getting Christmas presents and some pictures of Santa.

Here's yet another Santa in town, this time from the community potlatch sponsored by the Louden Tribal Council. Santa's helper this time was Phil Koontz, who lives right down the street.
