Summer 2011

No collards this year. However, now that we have the root cellar and it looks like leafy greens stay fresh for a while, I might go back to these.

Previous seasons

We grew collard greens for the first several years up here in Galena, and they did spectacularly well. Collards held up well after the first few frosts, grew strong, and didn't bolt. Unfortunately, we had no idea how to eat this vegetable, so we stopped growing it.
