The best bell pepper we've found is the Ace F1 from Johnny's Selected Seeds. They grow with vigor and produce supermarket-sized peppers by the end of the season. I've also grown other bell peppers that have worked, although I didn't keep records back in the day. The only one I remember that was a complete bomb was the California Wonder.

Another brilliant idea from Isa is shown in the photo to the right. Isa cuts the peppers in half and fills each with a mixture of spices, moose burger, and rice. We freeze them and then take them out during the winter. Nice and tasty - you can still have that garden-fresh aroma.
