Scarlet flax (Linum rubrum)
This is another one of the plants we noticed in that first batch of wildflower seeds from the Tuluksak garden. It grows silently on very thin branches and suddenly emerges with these brilliant red flowers. Tough as nails, too, requiring very little care.
