Maltese cross (Lychinus chalcedonica)
I first grew this in Palmer up on Soapstone Road, and it became a two-foot bush after the first overwinter. I haven't had that kind of growth up here - the plant grows with vigor, but ends up about half the size. Still, it's a solid perennial.
