Coleus
You don't normally think of coleus as being an outdoor plant in Alaska, but I'm finding that they grow well in protected places with partial sun from the beginning of June until the first frost. Hopefully that first frost doesn't happen in late July, though. In any case, the leaves get big and colorful under the constant weak sunlight.
