Not the best thing I've ever grown here. I tried a patch when we were living along the Yukon River
in 2002. I had grown them and seen them in Oregon when I lived there, and our house was in an open, flat,
sand-and-gravel area, so I thought maybe there would be enough summer heat and dryness.
Some of them came up late in the season, and they looked fine, but I really wasn't impressed
with what I saw here. Out here at the new house, we're a degree cooler than the old part of
town, and the air tends to have more humidity, so I think they'd do ever worse over here.
