A rock-walled garden at the corner of the driveway. I used sand from the hill outside town as mortar and flat rocks collected from the large pile next to the dike. Inside the garden, the sand is piled up against the stones; soil then fills the center. I think that the pressure from the soil against the sand along the edges has "locked" the stones into place; for whatever reason, that wall is actually quite sturdy.
