JoJo's baptism
JoJo was baptised on 19 June 2004 at the Catholic church in Galena. His godparents are Tim Bedony and Karen Lehmkuhl, a couple who atttend the church. Afterwards, we planted a tree in the front of the church and watered it with his baptismal water.

Here are some photos of JoJo playing the role of the shepherd in the church pageant at St. John Berchman's Catholic Church here in Galena. We also have the usual doting photos of JoJo during the elementary school Christmas pageant, and since we are a fair distance from the oppressive apparatchik at the ACLU, we actually use the word "Christmas." Are we not intolerant slobs or what?

After spending four days flying to get to Africa, we relaxed at Carla and Robbie's home in Johannesburg. JoJo went to cousin Blake's school and had such a blast we stayed an extra day so he could attend classes. Top row: JoJo is that kid in the front without the uniform. This photo was in the second grade classroom at Parkview Junior School in Johnannesburg. The teachers and principal were very professional and accomodating to both myself and my son. JoJo said he liked the math lessons a lot. Blake is second from the right. Row two: The second grade class at Parkview Junior School.
