Photos taken
June 2005
Some nice photos of the gardens around the property during the summer of 2005. Top row:
Here's one of the outside raised garden beds on 15 June. Most of the stuff in this bed are
greens and Oriental vegetables; the corn in the greenhouse on 30 June. So much for "knee high by the Fourth of July." Those
are pumpkins in the foreground. Second row: Some young Chinese cabbage ready to eat; baby watermelons at the edge of the treeline.
Third row: One of the wild petunias from Wildseed Farms; wild poppies and perennial herbs. Fourth row:
Isa checks out tonight's salad; the flowers at the head of the driveway. Fifth row: Daneborg lace poppies from Territorial Seeds;
convolvulus, a flower that I first found in some seed I got from Siberia. Sixth row: Collecting veggies for dinner on a hot summer day;
Eggplants in the greenhouse at the end of June.
