JoJo's baptism
JoJo was baptised on 19 June 2004 at the Catholic church in Galena. His godparents are Tim Bedony and Karen Lehmkuhl, a couple who atttend the church. Afterwards, we planted a tree in the front of the church and watered it with his baptismal water.

Here are some photos of JoJo playing the role of the shepherd in the church pageant at St. John Berchman's Catholic Church here in Galena. We also have the usual doting photos of JoJo during the elementary school Christmas pageant, and since we are a fair distance from the oppressive apparatchik at the ACLU, we actually use the word "Christmas." Are we not intolerant slobs or what?

This was our first summer at our new house. Here's some nice photos of the gardens and landscape around the property. Top row: This is the slough across the street from our house. It's called Crow Creek, even though technically speaking there are no crows around here; I just liked this photo of Isa and JoJo looking at the bears gathered at the dump on 6 August 2004. Second row: These are Johnny jumpups, one of the best flowers in our garden; some of those wonderful Yukon Gold potatoes, which make the best fries ever. Third row: Catch of the day.
