JoJo's baptism
JoJo was baptised on 19 June 2004 at the Catholic church in Galena. His godparents are Tim Bedony and Karen Lehmkuhl, a couple who atttend the church. Afterwards, we planted a tree in the front of the church and watered it with his baptismal water.

Here are some photos of JoJo playing the role of the shepherd in the church pageant at St. John Berchman's Catholic Church here in Galena. We also have the usual doting photos of JoJo during the elementary school Christmas pageant, and since we are a fair distance from the oppressive apparatchik at the ACLU, we actually use the word "Christmas." Are we not intolerant slobs or what?

summer 2004

We finally bought a home here in Galena. Here are some photos, both inside and out. The front of the house faces north, so there aren't any windows in that direction - a smart move considering where the wind blows in these parts. The south side is wide open to the sun, though. A really beautiful home. Top row: The light in the house is excellent for houseplants. Second row: A spooky picture taken July 2004 when wildfires were sending a lot of smoke in the area. The living room overlooks this field to the southeast. Third row: Some scenes of the living room interior. The living room is located on the second floor, along with the kitchen and the bathroom.
