JoJo's baptism
JoJo was baptised on 19 June 2004 at the Catholic church in Galena. His godparents are Tim Bedony and Karen Lehmkuhl, a couple who atttend the church. Afterwards, we planted a tree in the front of the church and watered it with his baptismal water.

Here are some photos of JoJo playing the role of the shepherd in the church pageant at St. John Berchman's Catholic Church here in Galena. We also have the usual doting photos of JoJo during the elementary school Christmas pageant, and since we are a fair distance from the oppressive apparatchik at the ACLU, we actually use the word "Christmas." Are we not intolerant slobs or what?

While the sisters were visiting Florida, they had to step into the Atlantic Ocean. We went to Playalinda Beach at Canaveral National Seashore, an undeveloped stretch of beach just north of Cape Canaveral. The water was warm and smooth both times we went.
